GTT Talent Valley Project in association with University of Kashmir
Global Talent Track has the mandate to train 5000 youth in the state of J&K, India and transform them into skilled talent pool who can find employment in the growing IT/ITES sectors.
The vision that envisages transformation of the state into a talent hub is an initiative under the overall directive of the Government of J&K, Ministry of IT and throughthe association with the two largest universities – University of Jammu & University of Kashmir.
Under the project, over 500 students underwent GTT Assessments to identify their potential areas of interest & mapping their profile to respective career oriented courses offered by GTT. As the next step, 339 students were trained in various domains including software engineering, networking & infrastructure management and growing KPO opportunities such as financial accounting, telecom, retail banking, human resources & insurance. Students also visited Pune for Industry visit & exposure to real-live IT work environment. Successful candidates were offered placements with companies in association with University of Kashmir & GTT industry connect.
