Global Talent Track (GTT) is a path breaking global education initiative, set up by some of the best minds from the industry, education and technology domains. The venture aims to provide ‘quality with scale’, through programs delivered across Asia through innovative technologies and compelling content. GTT work closely with academia and industry to design career oriented learning content by taking inputs from the industry experts, providing the technology platform to host the content with the help of Cisco Systems Inc; and manage the entire delivery process. It is also observed that there is a huge gap between the supply and demand of right manpower with adequate skills to work in different job sectors.

The venture has been established to train aspiring students on vocational skills that will help them get adequately skilled for the industry, and more readily employable. Built on a model of facilitated learning which uses technology extensively to provide quality with scale, the focus is on designing and delivering content by taking inputs from industry experts. The entire learning platform is guided by an assessment tool called ‘Talent Assessment’ which guides students to choose their career path by discovering their inherent attributes in addition to finding their domain proficiency.

To narrow the growing gap between the supply and requirement of trained resources, Global Talent Track (GTT) has partnered with Cisco Systems Inc, and other leading Universities in India to support the emerging growth requirements of the industry. The requirement is for trained manpower that can be readily deployed in large numbers across various sectors. The proposal envisages a consortium approach, with a public-private partnership, which brings together the multiple capabilities required to build a robust model that could be successfully deployed across the country.

GTT has tied up with the University of Pune to train 30,000 students in 100 colleges across Maharashtra and is in the process of building similar associations with various universities in Rajasthan, MP, UP, Gujarat, Orissa and Punjab , Jammu & Kashmir among others. 

Recently Intel Capital, the global investment arm of Intel Inc. and Helion Ventures made an investment in GTT which not only infuses capital for growth but also provides strategic advantage in business sphere.

GTT has developed a proprietary methodology - The Talent Assessment Test to assess student’s potential & aptitude and prepare them for roles/industry where they are likely to be successful. This TEST is integral to GTT’s learning methodology and curriculum. Talent Assessment helps students to take stock of their progress at various intervals and take corrective action if required. It also helps students to select a career path which is in sync with their career aspirations & their skills/capabilities.
